Fused Film shares:
Lucasfilm announced Monday that they’re developing an animated Star Wars sitcom.
Seth Green (creator of 2 hilarious Robot Chicken Star Wars specials so far) is the creative consultant on the project and seems optimistic:
“Let us assure you this isn’t going to suck as much as you think it is. We can’t guarantee its excellence, but we’re swinging by the fences.”
So far we know it will not be a sketch comedy show like Robot Chicken, and it’s ... |

Bruckhiemer Confirms National Treasure 3
|
|
Not happy with just two National Treasure films, Bruckheimer is keeping his new favourite writers employed moving ahead with a third installment.
ScreenJunkies says:
Jerry Bruckheimer has found a kinship with writers Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro. The pair wrote his next two blockbusters, Prince of Persia and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, and now he has them on the hook to write a third National Treasure film for director Jon Turteltaub.
If this gives us Nic Cage in a role that actually works for him and seeing the beauty that is Diane Kruger on screen again, I am in.

ScreenCrave shares:
Along with Warner Bros, their partners Legendary Pictures are looking to have the next Clash in theaters sometime in 2012. The bad news or good news (depends on how you look at it) is that Louis Leterrier will not be returning to direct. He’ll still be involved as one of the executive producers and Greg Berlanti will pen the story. The studio is currently looking at various agencies trying to find a new director and screenwriter to get things started.
I am actually encouraged by a sequel. ... |

Well pen hit paper and its all official, Condon has the job.
“I’m very excited to get the chance to bring the climax of this saga to life on-screen,” he says, in the official press release. “As fans of the series know, this is a one-of-a-kind book, and we’re hoping to create an equally unique cinematic experience.”
Not earth shattering news really, and the book is “on-of-a-kind”. How often do you get the chance to make a film out of the longest epilogue in literary history?
But the interesting thing to p... |
