Mass Effect movie coming soon

Mass Effect, an award-winning, best selling science fiction video game series, will be heading to the big screen in the near future. After it’s first two entries, Mass Effect (2007) & Mass Effect 2 (2010) both sold millions of copies & delighted the critics, the call has been made for the series to take a shot at becoming a full length film. An RPG third person shooter, Mass Effect was conceived by its creators as a trilogy from the beginning. Mass Effect 3 is planned for a 2011 release date.

3 New Prince of Persia Clips Online

With Prince of Persia: Sands of Time right around the corner, we get three more clips to take a peek at just to tide us over for the release.
The clips look pretty good, and this could file itself under the few Video Game movies that don’t suck. And if it does, I hope it starts a trend of taking that resource seriously.
They made people take note of Superhero films by taking them seriously, so why not Video Game adaptations?

Second Dinner for Schmucks Trailer Online

Dinner for Schmucks looked like a really funny Paul Rudd and Steve Carell movie with an interesting premise.
On the verge of getting the biggest promotion of his career, Rudd is introduced to a secret brotherhood that he must pass in order to get the job. He has to attend a dinner where the members invite idiots and make fun of them.
The imposing and climaxing voiceover bit at the beginning of this trailer completely ruins this for me. I liked the first trailer way better.
If I had seen this trailer first, I wouldnt have wanted to see it, but the last one had me.
I will just ignore this one, and go see it anyways.

Thor Concept Art Leaked

Right now somebody at Marvel is either very excited about 2011 or very fired. thanks to Empire online and Collider we now have images of Thor’s concept art as well.
According to Collider:
Thor’s get-up is especially difficult to make look, well, not ludicrous, but judging by these shots, it looks like they pretty much aced it, glowing nail-smacking utensil and everything.
I’m very impressed with all this linked art we’re getting to see–both Captain America and Thor could easily come off as ridiculous, but these designs are very solid and feel very ‘real,’ to me at least.

Looks like we will have two different looks at the classic tale of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea as Disney/Fincher are working on one, as well Ridley and Tony Scott will be creating their own.
