Twilight 2 Poster

There is a new Twilight 2 poster out. The poster actually hit the web a few days ago, but I never bothered posting it… something that I think every single female Movie Blog reader (yes, believe it or not some of those do actually exist) has written to me and demanded an explanation for why that is. So here ya go. Honestly, and I say this a a completely hetro-sexual man, I really liked the first movie. No, I never read the books, but I enjoyed the simple and different approach to the whole Vampire mythos the film took and I can honestly say I’m looking forward to the next one. Shut up. ...

It seems that when it rains it pours, and recently its pouring Thor. Right on the heels of finding out that Chris Hemsworth would be playing Thor in Kenneth Branagh’s Thor adaptation for Marvel’s Avenger’s lineup, we now get news of who would be playing Loki. British Actor Tom Hiddleston! Fused Film says: Hiddleston is pretty much an unknown to American audiences but an award-winning British actor and Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts (RADA) graduate. Clash Of The Titans Remake Starts Shooting
administrator
Saturday, 14 August 2010 14:33
The original Clash of the Titans is a bad movie in so many ways… but also CLASSIC in so many ways as well. When I first heard that they were lining up to do a remake of it, I actually thought it was a great idea. Some time ago I got my hands on a copy of the script, and I remained a believer that this remake could be great. Then they announced the director, Louis Leterrier (who also directed the Transporter and the new Hulk movie) and the cast, (Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes) and I was sold. The movie has now gone from pre-production and is filming full speed ahead. The good folks over at ComingSoon give us this syn...

UP Already Getting “Best Picture” Buzz
administrator
Wednesday, 11 August 2010 03:33
Two years in a row Pixar has produced the #1 critically rated films of the year (Ratatouille and Wall-E) and two years in a row those films failed to get nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars. I won’t go all into my whole “If it’s the Best Film, then it’s the BEST FILM, animated or not” rant again… but it looks like Pixar may have done it again. Pixar’s new film “UP” just premiered at the Cannes film festival, and the reaction to the film is coming hard and fast… and they’re already talking about Oscars for it. Our friends over at InConntention give us these low downs on th...

Favreau Twitters on the Set of Iron Man 2
administrator
Tuesday, 10 August 2010 17:33
As a sign of my old age, I just don’t get the fascination with Twitter. Its kinda like Facebook, but just the status updates. Well Jon Favreau gets it, and he drops hints all the time on his Twitter while he is diligently working away on the set of Iron Man 2. Coming Soon May 1: “Wrecking the joint. Not much left of the set. Broken stuff everywhere. Should look cool on screen.” May 4: “More suited destruction today. Rigging a big gag with lots of cameras.” May 4: “ILM on set today. Doing a mix of practical suits and Imocap, their version of on set motion capture developed originally for Pirates 2.” ...
