International Friends, if you are in the Los Angeles area this upcoming October 17, 2008 – I would like to invite you to a show.
I would be honored of any of you would be able to attend and am pleased to make this announcement. Here are the details:
The show starts at 8:30pm. There is a door cover charge of $5 and a two (2) drink minimum.
Your guests will need to go around the back where the parking lot is and tell the door man they are going to The Belly Room. We have known for a while now that The Bourne Identity is getting a fourth chapter. It is no surprise that they would want to continue as these movies are insanely popular and no sign of slowing down just yet.
Bourne Takes Manhattan, Bourne Free or Bourne Symposium looks like it has secured a writer, and he is no stranger to Jason’s adventures.

According to the trades Universal Pictures is moving ahead with its fourth installment of “The Bourne Identity” series, setting George Nolfi to write the script.

Holy Crow! Winds of rumors are swirling about that Jonah Hex will be played by Josh Brolin! We get the following scoop thanks to our friends at comingsoon:
Hollywood Elsewhere reports that Josh Brolin, who can be seen in next week’s W., has signed on to star in Warner Bros. Pictures’ Jonah Hex. This has yet to be confirmed by the studio, so stay tuned.

We have news about an a new infidelity drama aptly titled Dear John. We get wind of this film from the divorce caves of Yahoo:
Henry Thomas, of “E.T.” fame, has joined the cast of “Dear John,” a love story based on the Nicholas Sparks novel. Lasse Hallstrom is directing for Sony’s mid-budget Screen Gems division.
The story centers on a soldier on leave (Channing Tatum) who falls for a woman (Amanda Seyfried), but then re-enlists after the September 11 attacks. Thomas plays an older man whom the woman falls for while the soldier is away.

James Earl Jones is up for a lifetime achievement award from the Screen Actors Guild. We get the following scoop from the serpent caves of Yahoo:
James Earl Jones, whose booming voice gave the world the villainous Darth Vader in “Star Wars”, will receive the 2008 life achievement award from the Screen Actors Guild.
The award, given annually to the actor who fosters the finest ideals of the acting profession, will be presented to Jones in January when the guild honors the year’s top acting achievements on television and film, SAG said on Thursday.
