It’s no secret around here that I love Comic Book movies, and as such, I like to talk about them. Over the years there have been some very good casting decisions (see my post on the best casting decisions in comic book movies), there have been some very bad ones (Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane for example) and there have been a ton of “ok” ones too.
Anyway, I thought I’d throw together this little list of Alternate casting ideas… people I would have put in certain roles. Now, just because I suggest an alternate doesn’t necessarily mean I think the person who got the role did a bad job… just that I think i... |

No Deleted Scenes In Dark Knight DVD

The Dark Knight is getting closer and closer to its release date (you can see my review here) and already we hear some news about the DVD for the film. The folks over at IFMagazine give us the following:
“We know there won’t be any deleted scenes because there never are,” says Roven, noting director Nolan puts everything of importance in the actual movie. “There weren’t any on BATMAN BEGINS and there weren’t any on this one.”
That’s too bad in a way. Aside from the directors commentary, deleted scenes are my favorite features of a DVD. Not just because I get to see extra stuff… but rath... |

By the time we are all catching our breaths in the afterglow of this summer’s blockbuster rampage (and potential rollercoaster if some of those anticipated flicks fail) the media buzz will be once again bringing us into the Christmas season with all things Harry Potter.

Hell Ride Red Band Trailer

We have the new red band trailer for Hell Ride for you guys to check out today. I love the cast in this film and look forward to seeing it, but the trailer doesn’t really sit well with me. I hope my worries are washed away when I see this film August 8th, because with bikers, babes and guns this certainly has all the necessary ingredients to be absolutely trashtastic.
